Maximizing Your Existing Space

Over the last few years, we have seen a wide array of changes within the world of remodeling and design. In 2013, many of the design trends are pointing to smaller, more attainable home remodeling projects. Currently, we’re working with homeowners on projects designed to maximize the use of their existing space, allowing them to remain in the home they have grown to love.

Recently, we concluded a complete kitchen remodel for a home in Webster Groves, Missouri. The homeowner, an avid baker, was looking to gain space while improving functionality. Upon surveying the kitchen, we knew that we would have to fully alter the layout. By changing the layout, we are able to create more space without having to expand into a neighboring room.

As you can see, this helped to open up the area, creating a more cooking friendly environment.

Furthermore, we updated all of the appliances and features in the kitchen. This includes: cabinets, sink, faucet and countertops. Speaking of the countertops, the homeowner chose to make one countertop her favorite color: apple green.

The color not only gives the space a unique look, but allows for the homeowner to express her own personal style.
