Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2016

color of the year

Last week, Benjamin Moore announced their pick for the 2016 color of the year. We were surprised to see that they named “Simply White OC-117” as their choice for color of the year! Now you might look at “Simply White” and think “hmm… white. That’s pretty boring.” But it doesn’t have to be!

White is the perfect color to brighten a room, add contrast and definition and to enhance the natural beauty of the room. White isn’t just for trim work and doors anymore. We love using white to help make small rooms appear larger, brighten an area and to frame/highlight features of a home.

White brings a modern, sophisticated and sleek feel to any home. And there are so many shades of white that work wonderfully together to create contrast and interest. It’s more than white. There are countless ways to utilize this color and reawaken your home.
