At RIGGS Company, we believe in continuous advancement of our knowledge, staying on top of the latest trends, and achievement of the highest level of certification possible to best serve you. In many cases, we’re on the forefront of the remodeling industry, obtaining the most up-to-date certifications on a regular basis. This commitment is what sets the RIGGS team apart from many other remodeling contractors, and what has made the RIGGS name a staple in the St. Louis area for over 50 years.

RIGGS currently holds the following certifications:

Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) … multiple members of the RIGGS team have been named Certified Graduate Remodelers by the National Association of Home Builders. According to the NAHB website, CGR “is an exclusive professional designation” which is achieved through a firm’s demonstration of their commitment to excellent business management of their remodeling operation. CGR’s live up to the “highest industry standards and strict code of ethics.”

Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) … RIGGS team members began receiving their CAPS certifications many years ago in order to best serve older homeowners and help them live in their homes longer. CAPS are armed with the most up-to-date knowledge to incorporate designs and features into homes, and can help homeowners anticipate and plan for changes may be needed at the various stages of life.

Certified Green Professional (CGP) … the RIGGS team is certified to help homeowners identify ways to incorporate green materials and techniques into their remodeling projects. Several years ago, we participated in extensive coursework to help us master green building principles and advise clients so that they may meet their desired level of environmentally friendly building, and stay within their desired budget.

EPA Lead-Safe Certified … RIGGS Company was among the first firms in the country to achieve Lead Safe Certification, well before the EPA mandated date of April 2010. While many in the industry fought against the federal law requiring certification, RIGGS embraced the knowledge as a way to better serve our clients in a safe manner.
