In just a few short weeks, friends and family will gather together to celebrate the holiday season. If it is your turn to host the holiday party, you’ll want to make sure home is ready for the challenge.

While we don’t have the time to make major changes, there still are several small things you can do to help ensure your guests have a merry time.

  1. Paint: If there are areas of your home that are beginning to show some wear such as baseboards and railings, simply spruce them up with a fresh coat of paint.
  2. Clean Windows: There is something about freshly cleaned windows. It really has the power to invigorate your entire space.
  3. Super Clean Your Bathroom: Go the extra mile when cleaning your bathroom before your guests arrive. Polish all of the fixtures, replace the shower curtain and include extra toiletries such as soap, shampoo and towels.
  4. Rearrange Furniture: Position your living room furniture so people can easily talk eye-to-eye.
  5. Clean Tile: We love tile, but it is something that involves a heavy cleaning every so often. If the grout is in bad shape, we suggest replacing it.
  6. Clean Refrigerator: Remove all magnets and photos from the door of your refrigerator. This will help give your kitchen a nice and tidy look.

As always, if you have any questions or need assistance in sprucing up your home, please feel free to drop us a line. We are all ears!
